When and where is the expo?
The Cape Town Reptile & Nature Expo will take place on Saturday, 6th March and Sunday, 7th March 2027. It will be hosted at the Edgemead Community Centre, Edge Road, Edgemead, Cape Town. Doors open at 09:00 AM both days.
Where can I buy tickets?
Ticket sales are available at the door on the days of the event only. There are no online presales. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and common mobile payment methods at the entrance gate.
What are the ticket prices?
Tickets are R80 for Adults (18+), R50 for Children (4 and over), and free for kids under the age of 4.
Can I bring my own reptiles or pets to the expo?
For veterinary, safety, and biosecurity reasons, members of the public are strictly prohibited from bringing their own animals or pets into the exhibition hall.
Are we allowed to touch the animals?
For the health, safety, and well-being of the animals, there is strictly no touching of the animals on display allowed.
Will there be food and drinks at the venue?
Yes, there will be catering stalls and beverage stations at the venue serving delicious meals, hot coffee, and cold drinks throughout both days of the expo.
How can I apply for a vendor booth?
Breeders, nurseries, and shop owners can secure table space by messaging us directly on WhatsApp at 084 773 9903. Click the stall application button in the vendor section above to send a pre-filled request.
Can I get compliance or permit advice at the expo?
Absolutely! Knowledge in Nature is the proud host of the event. Our team will have a dedicated permit and compliance stand where you can speak to our experts, ask questions about provincial regulations, and get help with CITES and captivity registers.
